News and Events
Although difficult to do in these volatile times, we are staying optimistic with our events calendar, but at the same time, very aware that the ongoing Covid19 situation may force us to reschedule some of these events.
That said, here is a list of our intentions for your 2022 Diary:
The dates for the Spring assessment weekend in 2022, to be held near Cockermouth on the river Derwent in Cumbria, are now set for the 19th – 21st May, with our very popular Open Day to be held on Saturday the 21st May, (see poster) so please put these dates in your diaries.
We already have several candidates for assessments at this event, so if you have given some thought to taking an AAPGAI assessment, then please contact our secretary Peter Hastings on email@example.com to book your place and avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing another good turn out on the open day!
See Members section for details.
AAPGAI will be hosting an open day on the Haddon Estate waters in Derbyshire (Near Bakewell) by the rivers Derwent and Wye. This is planned for August 2022, and the date for your diaries is Saturday the 20th August. For further information, please contact our Events Officer Leigh Fidell at: firstname.lastname@example.org The more the merrier!
AAPGAI members will be providing demonstrations and tuition throughout the day, and our members in the trade will also have a presence at this event, so please let us know a.s.a.p. if you wish to attend.
This brings us full circle to our final event of our 2022 calendar, i.e. our end of year assessment and open day event at the Caer Beris Manor Hotel in Builth Wells, and if this year was anything to go by, with a full program of events, then this should once again be another amazing gathering. If you would like to book in for assessment at this event, or simply require further information, please contact our Secretary Peter Hastings at: email@example.com, alternatively, if you wish to book your place on the open day, (see poster) to enjoy the demonstrations and see what AAPGAI is all about, then please contact our Events Officer Leigh Fidell at: firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
The dates for this event are the 20th – 22nd Oct 2022. Assessments are planned for the 20th and the 21st, and the open day will be on Saturday the 22nd October. Once again it would be great to see you there!
