Hello, my name is Derek Turner
and I have been an active member of the association
for the past 15 years. I am situated in Bodelwyddan,
near to St. Asaph in North Wales and so have a
close 
relationship
with Foxons Tackle Shop where I worked for a number
of years.
I test and demonstrate for Foxons so it is a bonus for anyone wanting to try a new rod during a lesson. I am, of course, a fully insured and APGAI qualified instructor.
Most of my river teaching is done on the rivers Clwyd, Elwy, and Dee, but I am willing to travel to other rivers by arrangement with the client.
I teach regularly at my local Stillwater, Tan-y-Mynydd and also run regular fly-fishing courses there, usually on the last Sunday of the month.
I also run courses at Llyn Brenig during the season.
